Plants are beautiful “accessory” to have in your house. They can bring good energy to a room and really lift up the vibe! However, like me, maybe you are not the best plant parent, and often end up with a rather droppy looking plant.

So today’s blog is a little guide on “How To Not Kill Your Plant”. First we will have a little look into different types of plants that are commonly bought, how to take care of them and other tips that may help.

Tips

  • Plant watering globes allow the plant to automatically water itself. So if you’re in the habit of forgetting to water your plants or you are often out of town, these can be really useful.

  • Repot bigger plants, especially if they come in small pots.

  • Buy plants according to your living space and schedule.

  • Apps -

Here are some good apps you can help use to identify your plant, care for your plant or remind you to water it.

Blossom - Recommended by my mother. This app can identify your plant from a photo and then will tell you how to take care of it.

Planta - This app helps you keep track of your plants, reminds you when to water them and even has a “Dr Planta” feature (That part is subscription only though).

Decorative Ideas

Here are a few ideas on how to spruce up your rooms with plants!

And listen, if you really are a shocking plant owner, just buy a fake plant I promise no one will notice.🌿
